Efficient distribution of goods and services is a key factor for the wealth of companies active in the supply market. Distribution schemes range from simple one level systems to multilevel distribution systems, from distribution of end products to distribution of intermediary products, from classic distribution to selective distribution arrangements. The advice of a specialized lawyer is a “must” for the efficient implementation of a distribution/agency system and moreover, for ensuring its compliance with the commercial and competition law provisions.
Since I started practicing as a junior lawyer, I was entrusted with building up the contractual framework for large distributors acting in the FMCG market and with their notification with the Competition Council in view of obtaining clearance. An important steak of my collaboration with Telekom consisted in legal advice for the implementation of the distribution policies and contracts for the sale of services and related equipment to both residential and business clients.
